Awakening

A series of ink paintings where two faiths meet in a single frame — always with a Buddha statue nearby. Notre-Dame de Paris beside a Buddha. The Blue Mosque with its minarets, a Buddha resting in the foreground. Japanese Buddhist temples, with another Buddha close by.

Each painting brings two religious architectures into the same mist-shrouded landscape — not far apart, breathing the same air. The Buddha is the silent witness, the unifying presence.

This is a prayer in ink. A vision of harmony where difference does not divide, but coexists. Peace is not the absence of difference, but all things living together.
