Portraits – A different point of view

A photographic dialogue with Richard Woldendorp. He turned his lens upward — capturing the power of nature, the beauty of Earth from above. I turned mine close — capturing human faces, emotions, the quiet pulse of life.

Spanning the Tibetan Plateau, Xinjiang, Kashmir and Rajasthan, my portraits move between regions and communities while remaining anchored in the singularity of each encounter. They suggest not a typology, but a field of human presence shaped by place, light, climate and lived experience.

Two perspectives. One conversation. His aerial landscapes speak of time and the sublime. Mine speak of fragility and the moment.
